I’m happy, except perhaps first thing on Monday mornings, when my boyfriend eats all of the leftover Spaghetti Bolognese or when I miss the bus by only a couple of seconds.
I’m always searching for things to do that make me happy (chocolate = happy, marathons = not happy). I also love trying new things. But one day I figured why not combine the two – trying new things that make me happy. What could I do?
I stumbled across the lovely Gala Darling (her blog is amazing) who wrote a list called 100 things to do when you’re upset – the sad trombone list – which I’m going to call 100 things to do to make you even more happy – the cupcakes list (yes cupcakes make me very happy).
I was so excited when I saw this list – there were so many things that I hadn’t tried or done before and so many things that looked like, well, fun.
Every week I’m going to go through the list in order and I’ll blog about it and you can share your experiences and thoughts too. I would love if you wanted to join me for the whole list or even just every now and then when you spot something that you think might be fun to try out or do.
I’ve had a look at the list and some I can’t wait to do and I know will definitely make me happy but others I’m going to find a bit more challenging – but I guess that’s the point. I might find a few unexpected things make me happy. Bring on wearing a moustache for a day.
